The conference will be opened by Mariska van der Giessen (Director of the SIA Steering Committee) and Huib de Jong (Acting Chair of the SIA Steering Committee). In two rounds of breakout sessions, societal issues and research practice will be explored in greater depth. A comprehensive overview of these sessions can be found on the website of the Research & Impact Conference 2023. The program concludes with a focus on the next generation: students from the minor “The State of the World” will share how they generate impact.
